IceKeymasterTime to dial back the expectations. Are we better than last year? Maybe. We’re coached better, but yesterday was a wake up call. The difference in skill level between our team and the Bucs was much too big for coaching to overcome.
Our defensive line is absolutely terrible. Their RB’s routinely were 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage before first contact with a defender. There is no pressure at all on the QB. It was disgusting. Our DB’s weren’t doing terribly but no one can cover an NFL WR for 10 seconds while the QB sits calmly in the pocket choosing his options. Better NFL QB’s are going to set records against us.
The offensive line is just as bad. 5 sacks in a half is completely unacceptable. There was zero push in the running game. It was abysmal.

ShooterModeratorTime to dial back the expectations.
My expectation was 3 wins. I can’t dial it back much from there.
Corey Coleman – F- This is a huge minus right now for the front office. 1st round woes continue.
Yeah, I know, it’s his first half of a preseason game
Lmao. So Soupy.
pre-Madonna
Did you mean Prima Donna, or were you intentionally trying to insinuate that Coleman is older than the “Lucky Star” video? Just curious about that.
What we learned yesterday was that the O and D-lines suck, the DB’s suck, Special Teams sucks, we can’t run the ball, can’t stop the run, are severely lacking talent on both sides of the ball, and overall we suck.
On the bright side, it was preseason, and everyone knows preseason means nothing amiright?

soupParticipantCrowell averaged 4.9 YPC. 4 of his 8 atempts were 5+ yards. Duke tore it up too. Running was not an issue yesterday.
Again. Coleman SUCKED. To say any different is pure stupidity and blindness. He lined up wrong several times, fell down twice, couldn’t get open and bobble a perfect pass. To give that performance any higher than an F is a lie

soupParticipantOh and as for pre-Madonna, he should thank his Lucky Star someone was dumb enough to cross the Border line and pick him in round 1.

IceKeymasterLol I totally meant to make fun of pre-Madonna, but was so upset at the game I forgot. I was going to ask Soup what Coleman has to do with Madonna, and if he’s even aware of a time period pre-Madonna. As always, Shooter is here to pick up my slack.
Coleman didn’t blow anyone’s doors off. Let’s hope a few weeks of practice at least get him lining up correctly.

soupParticipantTry spelling after running around a kitchen island 200 times screaming “oh oh oh oh oh” with a 20 month old. I’m lucky I didn’t vomit seeing as it was after lunch. Wouldn’t trade the joy of the event and his laughing during it for anything including spelling

ShooterModeratorAgain. Coleman SUCKED.
Did Coleman look poor in his first game action in one half of a preseason game? Yes, yes he did and I don’t think anyone is really going to argue that.
But suggesting the guy is 1, a Prima Donna, and 2, a 1st round bust, waste of a pick and failure for the front office is, well, just very you.
I mean come on, it was his first time, the guy was like a virgin out there. Hopefully some more reps will give him a ray of light, and he can get into the groove.

We’re not talking spelling. If you had written Preema Dawna that would be a spelling issue. But you wrote pre-Madonna which indicates a complete misunderstanding of the phrase. And that’s why it’s funny. Also fun daddy tip; strap a gopro to that 20 month old whenever you can. The laughs will get you through the sleepless nights.

soupParticipantMaybe I like things before Madonna, did that ever occur to you?

ShooterModeratorI Cherish these discussions. I’ll Remember them.

I love that this is Causing a Commotion. Soup should Take a Bow for giving us so much material here. The more excuses he makes in defending his error just gets him Deeper and Deeper in too.

ShooterModeratorLol I totally meant to make fun of pre-Madonna, but was so upset at the game I forgot.
Dude, that’s where you went wrong.
Don’t ever be upset about the game. You know how that shits gonna end man, focus bro, focus on the important. We had a golden parachute of punnyness, almost hand delivered as if it came from Amazon itself, and you fucked it up.
s always, Shooter is here to pick up my slack.
I was and will be. As sure as the North star can lead you in a directional quest with unquestioned consistency……I will be here.
Is it just me or is anyone else pissed off that we couldn’t work “vogue” in? I mean, it was probably her biggest hit.
Goddammit.

Goddammit.I’m loving my stupidity to keep this going. And yeah, I was trying like hell to use Vogue. Pissed that it seems impossible

DawgstyleParticipantThe key is to use it incorrectly (like you did). Just because you have some VOGUE notion that Corey Coleman is a pre-Madonna because he was unprepared doesn’t mean that keeping the puns going is impossible.
Problem solved.
