That ref couldn’t be more wrong. Walker had every right to the ball. That never has been nor ever will be a penalty. I was dumbfounded when they called it. I fell asleep before the 2 game rigging plays but read about them. I watch the Browns now and leave red zone on while doing other things. If I’m watching Monday or thursday nioght – it’s because I’m in bed trying to fall asleep so I pick that to sleep to.

I saw it too and he has every right to the ball. They told him after the play that even if he picked the ball they still would have made the call.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

This might be the worst week of NFL refereeing in a LONG time. It sure helps make the case for having salaried full-time refs. Listen, these guys are human and for the most part do an amazing job but when they mess up spectacularly there needs to be a way to fix it. Like when they hit Landry for the blind side block, a 2 second review of that play could prove it was clean. There needs to be a quick way for the guys upstairs to chime in on those on-field ref meetings. It doesn’t take a 5 minute review, it takes 10 seconds and he could just tell the ump “It’s a clean play, pick up the flag” before he even announces the penalty.

Personally, I have for years believed they are profiting big time off of these games. Saw earlier that the packers had 517 yards they have gained on penalties. The lions had 267 yards same category.

The defenseless player block they called on Landry was inexcusable BS.

ALso that rule needs to removed. If you are defenseless then don’t play football.

Barring a miracle the refs handed Tenn a win over TB. Unreal. Quick whistle stole TB go ahead TD with 3:41 left. TB got the call on the recovery because it was immediate and got stopped on 4th

They need to dump interference replay. Refs are too hardheaded.

Colts against Steelers, ball not remotely catchable they throw a flag. Steelers challenge. Play stands as called. Following play unquestionably OPI on Indy not called. Steelers challenge play stands. 2 time outs gone for Steelers and roughly 40 yards handed to Indy down by 2 with 2 minutes left.

Refs are deciding way too many games today

EDIT: the football gods agree as Vinatieri shanked a FG he could make blindfolded on 1 leg

I don’t mind the interference replay, as long as they make the following clear to the NFL teams. “You are now able to challenge pass interference. However you WILL NOT WIN that challenge. So don’t try unless it’s a championship game.”
