He’s high. That was a textbook block in the back. I was yelling it before I saw the flag. Doesn’t matter if a player was “out of position”, you can’t block in the back.

Besides, they had chances after that. And even for Justin Tucker, a 53 yard field goal isn’t a gimme. Saying “we won the game right there” is just being a sore loser and an ass hat.

This league has a very serious referee problem. It’s not just us complaining either. The quality of refs has plunged after all the decent ones retired this year. Combine that with the new rules about roughing the passer and you’ve got a real firestorm.

Officiating is at its worst. I believe the officials are on the take. It is the only reasonable explanation. They are literally dictating games.

Bad officiating aside, Baker Mayfield was standing 4 yards deep in the end zone with 2:11 left in OTvand we won.
While something needs to be done about the officiating, especially when it seemed like they had to huddle every time they threw a flag on the rats, we overcame that adversity.
