Interesting that you have Parris Campbell up there. I was just in an argument about him during the Michigan game with another OSU fan. He didn’t like him for the NFL, whereas I think he’ll have a better pro career than college.

Watching him, he looks like the kind of talent that can take over a game, but the OSU offense never really featured him and allowed him to do that, for whatever reason. To me, Haskins is a little more of a see-it, throw it QB, and its hard for him to anticipate with Campbell’s speed, when he’ll be open and where to place it.

The counter argument was that Campbell isn’t tough enough in traffic. Which, I saw that with Robiskie, I don’t know that I see it with Campbell. Thoughts?

With Mayfield’s accuracy and Campbells speed they could be deadly together, especially with Calloway on the other side and Landry and Njoku inside…Who would you double? As Calloway or Campbell can both take the top off. Which would only keep safties out of the box for Chubb as well.

I’m a homer, of course, but I really think Paris Campbell will be pretty good. He has hands and speed.

I could still see us picking in the 5-8 range, if you look at our remaining schedule. I think we go 1-3 at best, these last few weeks.

If that’s the case, we should go absolutely BPA, other than QB. Possibly our last chance to pick that high for a while, let’s not pass on a rare talent because we’re trying to fill a hole.

Depends on dosey’d philosphy. IE For sake of arguement lets say the choise is OT in the 1st and DT in the 2nd vs DT in the 1st OT in the 2nd.
OT in the 1st scenario grades out lower than the DT but the 1st scenario grades out higher overall due to the depth of the position. The 2nd scenario the DT is BPA but the OT in the 2nd is mehh and brings down the overall combined score/grade

Personally I think it is okay to take a small hit on BPA at the top if you end up with a better overall class. Especially if it is on one of the 5 cornerstone positions. I figure some will disagree but I don’t I am taking an illogical position here.
