soupParticipantAfter his history of draft success, I’m inclined to trust him. That said, I hope he learned his lesson on low character Pos Like Hill and Hunt

IceKeymasterI’m not crazy about anything that would be available at 17, unless some teams really screw up I’d agree with the assessment. However I wouldn’t agree that anything Dorsey actually thinks about this draft would leak unless he wants it to. If he did leak it, the only reason would be because he’s trying to trade back into the 1st so he’s trying to lower the value.

ParticipantI think this is pure BS. I can buy that Cleveand wasn’t crazy about who they were projecting would be available at 17, but the idea that there are “15 1st round talents and we’re at 17” is nonsense.
First, every team grades players differently. No NFL team can possibly predict where players will be selected, so if you’ve got 15 players you’d be happy with, you’re essentially guaranteed one of them will be there at 17. Which blows this logic right out of the water.
But to further the point, if there are 15 players with a first round grade, how many of those would the Browns actually pick? Or is that excluding QBs and positions the Browns wouldn’t draft in the first? Because if so, that makes it even more likely that a player the Browns want would fall to them. If not, the number 15 is irrelevant, because the Browns obviously wouldn’t take any of those 15 that are QBs. You see how this all falls apart?
