I still don’t know how our new ‘tackle’ fits in. Almost everyone thinks he’s a guard or center in the NFL. I went over all the contracts of our starters on the o-line, every single one of them is locked in for 2018. We just signed a RT from the Steelers, and we have Coleman. We also signed a swing tackle.

Almost everyone means people like Mel Kiper who know as much as we do. Remember, our front office has a track record of success. This isn’t a lawyer picking a midget who never ran routes who at best projected as a slot WR to be a #1. This is seasoned guys using their knowledge to pick players.
Haley’s offense is quick to prevent the QB from taking hits. He probably fits that mold for his style.

Soup you know me well enough to know that I don’t rely on the Mel Kipers of the world. When I say ‘everyone’ I’m referring to scouts and GM’s who have gone on the record. No one has projected him as a tackle in the NFL.
I’m not doubting the pick, I just don’t understand it right now.
He played tackle at Nevada so did Bitonio maybe bit’s moves to LT when Coleman blows chunks maybe we ditch Drango in training camp at least they’ve drafted real players.
