MDP Sack AttackParticipantThat was one hell of a game. Our young guys played their hearts out, and Franconia might just be the best manager we’ve had in my lifetime.

ShooterModeratorTito was absolutely flawless in his managing last night.

soupParticipantFlawless again tonight. Due to a 6 run lead he took the risk of attempting to get 8 out of Kluber to avoid Shaw two days in a raw. Pulled Kluber before he allowed a run and cut it right there with the pen. Kluber was brilliant, Chisenhall was clutch. Another spectacular game from the Tribe.
Forcing their top 2 aces out in the 4th inning was fantastic. Get them nice and tired. Hopefully Sunday we knock out the 3rd man before the 5th and end it to get rest

ShooterModeratorAgreed.
The Indians have a great team, but there’s no denying it. Tito is the captain of this ship, and it’s a privelege to see him work.
His plan has been flawless, and the players have responded to it with perfection.

MDP Sack AttackParticipantThe amount of trust he puts into his guys, from the top to bottom of this team, really helps to give them chemistry and makes everyone a contributor.
I loved it when Napoli had the world’s ugliest stolen base today, should have been out by a mile, and they cut to Tito shrugging and smiling. Most managers would be losing their shit, even thought Nap was safe.
His lineups have been impeccable these past two games, and his bullpen usage has been perfect. If he’s not manager of the year again, there’s something terribly wrong.

soupParticipantThe best thing was him assuring the shutout with the hook on Kluber. The confidence this team has is incredible. Couple that with the look of devastation on Boston faces. They are truly on the ropes. We need to keep that confidence and take game 3 and rest for the ALCS.

MDP Sack AttackParticipantI cannot imagine a more intimidating sight for batters than Kluber coming set with that slow, cold look up. I have to admit, I was a little worried about him coming off an injury…but he’s now 2-3 guaranteed wins every series. If we best Boston and Toronto beats Texas, we’re guaranteed home field throughout the playoffs, which is HUGE.
Just watching the body language of Pedroia, and their crumbling defense….Boston is broken. I do think they’ll win game 3, but this is our series.

ShooterModeratorI would MUCH rather face Toronto than Texas, and more than just because of the obvious advantage of home field. Toronto’s pitching is suspect, and their bullpen is average at best. I can see that series ending in 5.

BillWunkleParticipantAfter seeing what Tito and the Tribe have done thus far, it’s time for the little cowboy and the bullpen to seal the deal in Bean Town. The Red Sox are down, and it’s time for the Tribe to step on Boston’s throat and stand on it until they croak. It’s time for the Indians to finish the job. GO TRIBE!!!!!!!
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

soupParticipantThank you Toronto for home field. Hopefully we close it out tonight and take advantage of it in the ALCS with Kluber on the mound game 1.
No rain in the forecast tonight. Give us a gem Tomlin!
