If you plan a drafting a DT at 17, without Richardson your plan is pretty obvious and every team that wants a DT will leap frog you to get him. This is exactly why we got jumped for Patrick Mahomes.

Richardson keeps your intentions less obvious, and gives you the flexibility to bypass DT if the guy you want isn’t there. Well done Dorsey.
