MDP Sack AttackParticipantI’d be doing whatever it took to avoid being on the field with this team as well.
In all seriousness, good for him. If this is what he needs to get his life together, then that’s what’s important.

DawgPoundDudeParticipantI agree, get your life in order before devoting your life to, at the end of the day, a game. I just hope he isn’t doing this as a cover for some shit he pulled.
As a fan of said game though…it kinda rips the heart out of you. Was really looking forward to seeing him and Pryor on the field. I can only hope that will happen, as his chances of playing another down for us has probably went from slim to none.
*Sigh* Best of luck, Josh.

ShooterModeratorSo many things about this make zero sense.
#1 Why now? You wait until a week and a half before your suspension ends and you’re allowed to come back to the team to go to rehab? He couldn’t do this over the summer? Before camp? Last year? Pretty much any time in the last 16 months? He waits til now?
#2 For what? Is he seriously going to rehab for weed? Who the hell does that? I’m not making light of the situation at all, but let’s be honest here, it’s weed. Unless of course after hanging out with Money Manziel he somehow developed a serious coke problem. Not outside the realm of possibilities, but if he’s wrecked on blow all the time, I’m guessing the league would know about it.
Speaking of the league…. #3 is there more to this than what is being reported? Did he fail another test? Is the league making him do this? Which only leads to more questions like is his career over? Is he even/ever coming back to the Browns?
#4 where was/has been the team in all of this? Have they been monitoring the situation? How was he in camp? During preseason? Why wasn’t the team more proactive then?
#5 WTF?
#6 Because, Browns.

soupParticipantBecause its impossible to help an addict. The only one who can help an addict is the addict themselves.
If you do the math a HOMELESS chick is suing him for a paternity test.
He was probably hopped up and banged her. Banging homeless chick’s as a professional football player and getting one pregnant was probably his rock bottom.
I’m sure it’s more than weed for rehab.
Good for him for choosing to try and fix his life.
As it relates to t he Browns, we need a kicker far more than him. If we had a kicker we’d be 2-1 without him.
Freedom!!!

IceKeymasterI don’t think the girl was homeless when he banged her. She certainly won’t be homeless anymore.
It could just be alcohol, we don’t know and it’s pointless to speculate. Whatever it is, it has control over his life.
Step one – quit hanging out with self-destructive people that are controlled by their addictions i.e. Johnny Manziel
