Dawg Pound Dude wants to know, “Who are the likely candidates to take over as OC? Anyone who’s worked with Hue previously? And who would you like to see?”
The two names I hear the most are former Bengals OC Ken Zampese and current Texans QB coach Sean Ryan. As to which one I prefer, I think the hiring of Zampese for that position would be a HUGE mistake.Heard the same at first, Bill. Then it evolved into Zampese getting hired as some sort of assistant role, one that (hopefully) doesn’t involve playcalling duties. As for Ryan, that’s an interview supposedly happening Wednesday. Dude’s never called plays before, so this should be a fun hire if it happens.
In other news, Mike Pettine is interviewing for the Green Bay DC gig. Looks like his paycheck from Haslam finally dried up.
